Teddy Bear Making Workshops with Norbeary Fabrics

My husband Andy and I usually do bear making workshops or bear design workshops (non-smoking) at our home in Hythe on a one to one basis, or you can bring a friend, although I can cater for larger groups if requested. If you own a shop or are a member of a Teddy Bear Club we will be happy to come to you, to do a group workshop, as long as you help with the organising.

I do the one to one workshops in Hythe, Kent and the cost is £100 per day plus materials. I try to cover any aspect of bear making from beginner's to advanced level, plus help with design, marketing and setting up in business if that's what you would like. I tailor the day to suit your needs and the aim is to produce your own beautiful bear by the end of the day.  

We can help with; design, hand sewing, machining, needle sculpture, nose sewing, eyes, ears, dyeing mohair, sourcing materials, promotion, trade organisations, website design, insurance awareness etc.  

I usually ask people to bring some of their own bears and then go on from there, the object is generally to have a bear finished by the time you leave (even if we end up in pyjamas).

If you wanted a course that lasts more than one day, or if you are travelling from afar, I can suggest local B & B accommodation, or you can use this website go to Hythe website which is also useful if you want to find out what there is to do to entertain chauffeurs, partners, kids, friends and relatives who might want to come down to Hythe with you.
